ITDA & AI
“Promoting Positivity and Purpose”
Only a matter of weeks into 2026 and we’re surprised by the number of clients getting in touch about incorporating our services into budgets for the introduction and development of AI in the next financial year.
Whilst there’s a lot of media coverage, speculation and debate about the advance of AI, there appears to be a common consensus that its potential should be realised as a resource tool, rather than replacement, for human endeavour.
For that reason, we’re seeing demand for our services to assess, engage and support the integration of new technology into our manufacturing, professional services and defence clients in a variety of ways.
1. Personalities
We’re being called on for confidential meetings with business leaders to plan the best way to broach the subject of AI within their businesses.
One method is to call upon the dtat from the asessments we’ve issued for members of staff, to guage their likely reaction(s) to AI. Which individuals are likely to be receptive, supportive, anxious or fearful of change? And what behaviours need to be taken into consideration to maintain morale and productivity?
By identifying possible champions who will be supportive of others, and those who may feel overwhelmed or worried, managers can prepare responsibly and with sensitivity.
2. Dynamics
With differing reactions usually found within teams and departments on any matter, how can managers bring people together, effectively explain plans and engage in meaningful dialogue that allows staff to share their thoughts, feelings and any concerns?
We’ve been working on carefully considered frameworks and engaged in senior-level training to ensure that plans are not only delivered with clarity and accountability, but are also open for discussion and questioning.
Creating a supportive environment strengthens teams and helps individuals support each other in common purpose.
3. Modelling Behaviour
Bringing up the subject of AI has been a cause of genuine apprehension for some CEOs, COOs and Heads of HR, which is a shame because, from what we’ve heard, adoption of AI resources will be a great source of productivity and support to employees, not a reason for redundancy.
Depending on the character and style of leadership, we are helping people at the top of our client organisations both to set an example of positivity and progress, and understand their audience.
Conclusions
Whilst AI is often feared as the villain as soon as it is mentioned, businesses that ensure understanding, care and compassion for their workforce are finding that it is no different to introducing any other change within a business.
With engagement that ensures every individual has an opportunity to be heard, in an atmosphere that supports all types of employees, businesses can introduce and integrate AI as a welcome new member of their team.
